Uinta Hop Notch IPA

I always enjoy a good IPA. Uinta Hop Notch IPA seemed interesting to me after reading the label and also admiring that it had the bottled on date clearly printed on it. So I gave it a whirl.

Uinta Hop Notch IPA is out of Salt Lake City and boasts a strong 7.3% alcohol content level. This beer is definitely hoppy, but not over the top. It has a subtle body at best, but the overall flavor is slightly watered down. It also has an almost carbonated mouth feel to it, more like ginger ale, less like other beers.

It definitely isn't as in your face as other IPAs tend to be, but it doesn't stand up as a great craft beer either. I'd say it's worth a go if you want to try something different, but it's not all that great.

Around $7 for a sixer. Not bad. Not great.
5 Flavor
A little watered down. Very hoppy. Wish it had more body to it and less of a fizzy feeling.
6 Drinkability
Eh, if you can get over the carbonated mouth feel you could probably pound these.
I've had better.
